CWVRG highly recommends any prospective Vizsla owners visit the Vizsla Club of America website (http://www.vcaweb.org/breed/find_a_breeder.shtml). The VCA site has valuable information that will prove useful to anyone looking for information about Vizslas and Vizsla breeders. Please be sure to read the "Top Ten Signs of a Responsible Vizsla Breeder". For more information please contact Florence Duggan at flopete4@aol.com or at (908) 789-9774.

Medical

Little Oliver. His breeder wanted him euthanized, but a compasionate vet and CWVRG combined resources to save his life.

Many of us have experienced the sadness of watching our beloved dog go through a medical crisis. While it may be painful for both us and the dog it can also be a learning experience. Because we are a community of dog lovers, specifically Vizsla lovers, CWVRG has created this space to provide some information regarding specific medical issues. This page is not intended to replace the counsel or advice of your veterinarian but is merely to provide information. Please read the following posts with that in mind and be sure to consult your own veterinarian and do your own research as well.
