Our goal: To leave no Vizsla to die or suffer.
Remember: “No matter how nice, a shelter can never be a home.”
8/16/02 – 10/12/02
Peaches, an 11 year old female Vizsla/Greyhound mix came into rescue with her buddy, Fred, a purebred Vizsla. They were released to our rescue group as a result of their owner’s death. Their owner was a very young man and his family was very concerned about what would happen to his dogs. The family was referred to our rescue group by our local humane society.
Peaches was healthy, but had hip problems. Both dogs were placed in a foster home immediately with Bob & Mary. They wanted to take both dogs so they wouldn’t be separated.
Peaches found a new lease on life with food supplements for her achy hips. Bob and Mary decided that these two dogs had found their forever home with them.
Peaches crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge in December of 2003.
