Greeley Jake

Our motto: “Heal the body, heal the mind then find the Vizsla within!” – Lee Mahlman
Our goal: To leave no Vizsla to die or suffer.
Remember: “No matter how nice, a shelter can never be a home.”
  • December 20, 1995 – 2003
  • Greeley Jake was found at large and picked up by the Greeley Humane Society in December 1995. He was a very large boy and just about the sweetest, loving, non-aggressive dog. He got along extremely well with other dogs and cats. It was estimated that he was around 5 years old.

He was adopted by a wonderful family in Fort Collins and shared the home with pet rabbits. As of this date “Jake” is an honored and loved member of the family. He should be around 13 years old now.

Jake crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in 2003 knowing the love of a wonderful family life.
